Dr JOLY did his PhD in the Sandrina KINET’s Team in Montpellier laboratory working on the metabolic regulation of erythropoiesis. His research focuses on the role of cysteine uptake and metabolism in the regulation of protein translation process in erythroid progenitors.
Investigating the role of metabolic genes in the regulation of HbF expression using drug screening, genetic approaches, functional and metabolic assays.
