Dr Frédéric Martino is an Associate Professor in Intensive Care Medicine at the University Hospital of Guadeloupe and a researcher at Inserm U1134 (BAHSic Lab). His work focuses on sepsis, inflammation, and platelet activation, particularly in tropical and critical care settings. He is also actively involved in medical education and simulation-based training.
Investigating the role of inflammasome activation in platelet function during bacterial and viral sepsis. Research on critical care management in isolated territories, including medical evacuation and severe neurological conditions. Development of simulation-based training programs for undergraduate and postgraduate medical education.
