Jérémy MOREL is a PhD student in the BAHSic laboratory working on the spleen B cell in sickle cell anemia. His thesis focuses on the spleen B cell dysfunction in children with sickle cell anemia.

Current projects

Investigating in sickle cell anemia (SCA), spleen B cell dysfunction, a main facet of functional asplenia, is involved in at least two major clinical complications: susceptibility to pneumococcal infections and delayed hemolytic transfusion reaction.
