Dr. Thierry Peyrard, PharmD, PhD, HDR, European Specialist in Laboratory Medicine, is a director of research in the BAHSic laboratory, working in the field of immunohematology and blood transfusion. His research focuses on the characterization of new blood group systems and red cell antigens, and to investigate the role of blood group-carrying molecules in mature red cells and erythropoiesis.
Investigation of complex cases in immunohematology
Characterization of new human blood group systems and red cell antigens
Contribution of null red cell phenotypes to a better understanding of human physiology and pathology
